Here we have a lovely fresh Garrard 401 turntable. It's nice and clean and in excellent working order. We purchased the turntable from the 2nd owner who says that he never used it very much but did have it serviced many years ago by Mike Powell of Bolton. Cosmetics are excellent with lovely original paint, just the odd mark that we have tried to show in the photos. A couple of little marks on the control panel as well. The turntable functions very nicely, quickly getting up to speed on each setting and braking quickly when switched off. We have also extensively play tested the turntable as it was in use in my own living room over the festive period.
The turntable is a UK model set for 240v and 50hz operation and has a 50hz platter. However, it can easily be used on 100-120V mains systems by setting the links on the mains block for this and installing a 60hz motor pulley.
