This is an original SME bedplate (also known as a baseplate) from the SME 3009 Series II Improved tonearm. It’s the genuine mounting part that fixes the arm securely to the turntable plinth. An essential spare for anyone restoring, repairing, or completing a 3009, this part ensures correct geometry and stability. This will also fit the 3009 series II early and 3012 but it doesn't have the red graudated markings.
