CambridgeAudio 640P Phono Amplifier MM and MC Moving Magnet Moving Coil

Regular price £103.50
Here we have the classic, Cambridge Audio 640P Moving Magnet and Moving Coil phono stage finished in black with UK power adaptor. This classic phono stage has been highly popular since it's launch to rave reviews in the early noughties. It's garnered such respect over the years that noted amplifier designers such as Arkless Electronics have even offered audophile upgrade packages to further enchance the already solid performance. This example is a standard unmodified version, is in good clean cosmetic condition and full working order. We have play tested the unit this week, it performed flawlessly in our studio, offering a significantly upgraded sound over the standard Behringer pro audio MM phono stage we have on our play test rack.

The Azur 640P stands as a well-engineered MM/MC phono amplifier from the mid-2000s Azur lineup. Its discrete Class-A circuitry, solid componentry, and subsonic filtering offered compelling performance at its price. Endorsed by What Hi-Fi? and loved by vinyl enthusiasts for clarity and fidelity, it still holds value for those seeking capable phono support from Cambridge Audio’s legacy era.
