Here we have a lovely early example of the famous Garrard 401 turntable. What makes this example special is that as well as having coverted "twin spark" dual spark supressors, it also has a flush strobe which is activated on demand by pressing down on the speed control knob. The turntable runs well on all speeds, all controls are responsive and it is working well. There is no play in the spindle bearing. Cosmetics are also good with nice clean paint. A point to note is the scratch to the paintwork on the left edge of the chassis. We have a zoomed in photo to highlight this. The platter mat is bonded to the platter but is in good shape. Note the platter mat is very thin so you could easily use a different one over the original platter mat. As you can see we've uploaded a video to the listing showing the turntable running.
