SME 2000 plinth system cut for Garrard 401 turntables and SME 3009 Series II, Series II Improved or Series III tonearms. The plinth is in good condition. Of course the lid has a few marks from use, the worst one can be seen on the left hand side middle (see zoomed in photos) but generally it's nice and is clean. The plinth is in good shape, but does have some marks as you would expect. On the right hand side there is a little bulge to the veneer. We have zoomed in to show this. We've had bespoke packaging made for the plinth so that it can be shipped properly. Users wishing to use a different arm or turntable with the plinth can make their own top plate for the plinth so it's a flexible system. The lid has strong hinges that retain the lid in the open position if required. Two smart holes are located at the rear of the plinth for routing the power cable and tonearm signal cable.
