Terms of service
These terms apply when you use chorltonanalogue.com or buy from us. Please read them before you order. If you're buying as a consumer, nothing in them affects your statutory rights.
1. Who we are
This website is run by Crossley Solutions Ltd, trading as Chorlton Analogue, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 05367729). Our registered office is 318a Palatine Road, Manchester, M22 4FW, United Kingdom. You can reach us through our contact page.
2. What we sell
We sell used and vintage hi-fi equipment, parts and accessories, and recordings. Almost everything is one of a kind and pre-owned, some of it decades old, so each listing describes that item's condition, including any known faults. Items listed for spares or repairs, or as untested, are sold as described.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and include any VAT that applies. Delivery charges are shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order, through our payment providers; we never see your full card details.
4. Your order
When you place an order, we'll email to acknowledge it; that email doesn't mean we've accepted it. The contract between us is formed when we dispatch your order. Because our stock is one of a kind and is also offered for sale elsewhere, an item occasionally sells before your order reaches us. If that happens, or if an item was listed at an obviously wrong price, we'll let you know and refund you in full.
5. Delivery
Our shipping policy explains delivery times and costs. An item becomes your responsibility once it's delivered to you or to someone you've nominated. For international orders, import duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
6. Returns and refunds
Our refund policy explains your right to change your mind, our 30-day warranty, and what happens if something is faulty or not as described.
7. Our responsibility to you
If we don't keep to these terms, we're responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of that. We're not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for your rights as a consumer, such as goods matching their description and being of satisfactory quality.
If you're buying for a business, our total liability to you is limited to the price you paid, and we aren't liable for loss of profit, business or opportunity.
8. Using this website
Please don't misuse the website, for example by interfering with how it works or by copying its content in bulk. Our product descriptions and photographs may not be reused without our permission. We may refuse or cancel an order where we reasonably suspect fraud or misuse.
9. Your personal information
Our privacy policy explains how we use your information.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you're a consumer, you can bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales or, if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in your local courts.
