Quad 44 Tape Module RCA phono and 5 pin DIN. Charcoal grey paint. Orginally for late charcoal grey Quad 44 amplifiers but also fits early models.
The Quad 44 was a preamplifier built around interchangeable input modules, allowing the connections and facilities of each channel to be configured for different source equipment. This is a tape module fitted with RCA phono and 5-pin DIN sockets, finished in charcoal grey to match the later Quad 44 fascia.
