The SME 3009 headshell socket is the collar fitting on the SME 3009 Series II and Series II Improved tonearms, allowing an EIA/EMT-standard headshell to be mounted and connected via four signal pins. It is not compatible with the 'R' version arms, which use a different collar bore.
