This is the single-piece counterweight for the SME 3009 Series II (Early, non-Improved) tonearm, distinct from the earlier split-weight configuration. It fits to the armtube stub via a grubscrew and pusher, with a separate grubscrew securing the wayrod, and the counterweight-and-rider-weight assembly is appreciably decoupled from the main armtube.
