The SME 3009 Series II Improved is a fixed-headshell tonearm produced by SME in England, using an anodised aluminium armtube and a drilled aluminium non-detachable headshell. It uses SME's sliding arm board alignment method rather than a slotted headshell, and connects via SME's parallel 4-pin output connector.
