This is the original factory packaging for an SME 3009 Series II tonearm, comprising the printed outer box and the moulded two-piece polystyrene insert set. SME manufactured the 3009 Series II in Steyning, Sussex, England, and it was supplied as a pickup arm for turntables such as the Thorens TD 124/125 and Braun PCS 52.
