Thorens TD124 Mk2 turntable, excellent paintwork, in full working order having just been serviced. Sold without tonearm or plinth. Currently configured for 240v 50hz mains.
The Thorens TD124 is a Swiss-made belt-and-idler drive turntable. The Mk2 variant uses a non-magnetic aluminium alloy platter in place of the Mk I's cast iron platter, eliminating magnetic interference with phono cartridges. It is fitted with a replaceable armboard accepting a range of 9in, 12in and 16in tonearms.
